Mantis editores is a publisher specialized in poetry, with almost 300 titles on its list, whose work was recognized with the Pluma de Plata (Silver Feather) awarded by the Board of the October Festivals of Guadalajara. The anthology 13 mantis en un país germano / Dreizehn Mantis in einem deutschen Garten was chosen as the best book of poetry published in Mexico during the V Independent Book Fair organized by the FCE; that same year, Haitian author Anthony Phelps' book Mujer América / Femme Amérique was awarded the Gatien Lapointe-Jaime Sabines International Poetry Prize. In 2014, Valeriu Stancu received the Nichita Stánescu Award for his book Autorretrato con maldición and the same award was given to our publishing house at the International Chisinev Book Fair (Republic of Moldavia) in recognition of our work promoting contemporary Romanian literature. We publish in two imprints: Terredades and Liminar, as well as in bilingual co-editions with foreign publisher Écrits des Forges (Quebec); Selo Sebastião Grifo (Brasil), BookThug (Canada) and others.
